Jennifer Sey has been cancelled not once, but twice. The first time it was for calling out the abusive coaching practices in gymnastics before you were supposed to believe all women. Back in 2008 you were just supposed to extol the virtues of Olympic coaches even if they abused young girls as a matter of course. Then Jen got herself cancelled again — but it was way worse this time. During covid Jen advocated for open public schools. Can you imagine the audacity? For that crime, she got a good dragging across the internet including pile-ons from friends and family! Good times. Now she doesn’t care what people think of her. She’s doing her own thing and is free to think and speak as she pleases.
